RNS speak at the East of England Rural Forum
Michael Snaith and Callum Knowles of Regional Network Solutions were recently invited to present to the East of England Forum in Newmarket as part of the Rural Forum’s Rural Broadband Workshop. Speaking to key stakeholders including representatives of local authorities and rural community councils in the East of England, the NFU and the CLA.
Regional Network Solutions in a wide ranging presentation encouraged representatives to work together through local engagement in order to deliver a co-ordinated and holistic approach to rural broadband which supported the rural economy and communities rather than a piecemeal adhoc approach which would not attract either public or private sector investment.
RNS support the Essex NextGen Event
Tuesday 21st June at the NextGen Event hosted by Essex County Council saw Michael Snaith of Regional Network Solutions chair one of the afternoon workshop sessions.
The session well attended by conference delegates looked at both various commercial models to support broadband deployment and how such a broadband platform including mobile could support the delivery of services including public services to the consumer. Speakers included Jim Leask of Colchester Borough Council who RNS have been working with to develop and implement a Borough Digital Strategy.
